Residential Visits
Year 5 - Weardale 2023
Weardale was a fantastic experience for all of us. We took part in a range of activities including: canoeing, stand up paddle boarding, rock climbing (on a real rock face!), campfire and nightline. Each of the activities presented its own challenges but it we all worked towards facing those with determination, resilience and our friends by our sides to cheer us on. The time went by so quickly and we made so many amazing memories for us to take home with us.

Day 1 was absolutely incredible on our residential.
We couldn't wait to get there and complete our first activities. Everyone was amazing and thoroughly enjoyed everything.
We couldn't wait for day 2 for more fun and activities.

Day 2 certainly didn't disappoint either!
We were so busy all day and completed 2 activities as well as an evening one. It was great to complete more challenges with our friends by our sides.

Day 2 High Ropes
Day 2 Night Line
We couldn't believe that the final day of our adventure had arrived and we would be home that afternoon.
Before we left, we had time for one final activity. It was amazing.

Year 4 - Moor House March 2023
WOW! What a fantastic time we had on our first residential. The children in Year 4 blew us away with their manners, skills and team work and it was an absolutely pleasure to take them away. From tree climbing, archery, pioneering, orienteering, shelter building, fire making, crate stacking, all the way to singing songs and dancing around the campfire, we all had the most wonderful experience! Keep an eye out on our website where we will be adding lots of photographs.
Please can we take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in the residential. To parents for packing up and preparing their children for the visit, the office team for supporting with the paper work, the PTA for funding our bus, staff back at school who covered teaching and duties, the team at Moor House and to the staff who attended the residential with the children – we couldn’t have provided our children with this amazing opportunity without any of you!
