What we've been up to...
In science we have been learning about the different seasons. We decided to go on a walk to see if we could spot some of the signs to show it is Autumn now. We saw trees with leaves falling off and found lots of red, brown and orange leaves on the ground. We even found some pine cones!
We like to play lots of phonics games to help consolidate our learning of new sounds. We had lots of fun find these word and picture cards hidden outside! We used our phonics to sound out each word so we could find the matching picture.
Author Visit: Adam Bushnell
We enjoyed a visit from children's author Adam Bushnell. He showed us some of his tiny tree monsters and we drew our own monsters! We also wrote about what our monsters enjoyed doing.
We have lots of fun in our practical maths lessons! These lessons help us to understand new mathematical concepts. We have enjoyed practical lessons outside and in the classroom using maths resources.
