A visiting artist has explored a range of materials and art techniques with some children in school today.

A number of children got to work alongside Allison from Bowburn Art Group during Art Day today to create a range of work about the environment. They used a wide variety of materials to create individual pieces as well as each making a contribution to a larger project. Allison also visited different classes to discuss and show her own work. The children have loved getting the chance to ask questions and explore different types of art.
