We would like to say a huge thank you to the children of Park View School who have delivered some very important messages through a fantastic drama production for pupils in Year 5 & Year 6.
The production was focused on cyber bullying through social media and had been written and produced by the young people themselves. Please use this opportunity to talk to your child about the issues raised in the production and reinforce those messages at home.
This has also lead to an exciting opportunity for the children in Year 5. The project had been initiated by Durham Police and they have invited us to meet with them to discuss ways in which we could respond and continue to share those important messages with others. We hope to hold this meeting before the end of term and begin our work in the autumn term.
