Coxhoe Primary School

Yesterday Class 3 completed numerous activities linked to popular fairy tales. The children were on the look out for clues left by certain characters. We found Red Riding Hood's cloak but then had to move from tree to tree to escape the wolf. Next we had to tip-toe across the bridge so that we didn't wake the troll before an exhausting climb up a beanstalk to visit the giant's castle. The children were also very creative with natural materials and made a house for a little pig and their very own clay troll. The children were very enthusiastic about extending their knowledge of stories and even the undesirable weather didn't dampen their spirits. Thank you for a very enjoyable day Class 3.
