2023 - 2024
Year 3
Coxhoe Camp June 2024
Year 4
Moorhouse March 2024
While our Year 4 children make us proud every single day, there is something truly special about seeing them take on the challenges in a residential. The way they pushed themselves to try new things was amazing to watch. Throughout our visit to Moor House, the Year 4 children of Walliams, Rowling and Morpurgo showed reslience, curiosity, ennthusiasm and real bravery. Activities included archery, bush tucker crafts, den building, crate stacking, climbing and so much more. The staff at Moor House and Coxhoe Primary were delighted with the trip and can't wait to visit again.

Year 5
Weardale October 2023
Year 5 have had an amazing experience at Weardale. We took part in a range of activities such as raft building, archery tag and rock climbing. Each of the activities presented its own challenges but it we all worked towards facing those with determination, resilience and our friends by our sides to cheer us on. The time went by so quickly and we made so many amazing memories for us to take home with us.

Year 5 - Weardale April 2023
Weardale was a fantastic experience for all of us. We took part in a range of activities including: canoeing, stand up paddle boarding, rock climbing (on a real rock face!), campfire and nightline. Each of the activities presented its own challenges but it we all worked towards facing those with determination, resilience and our friends by our sides to cheer us on. The time went by so quickly and we made so many amazing memories for us to take home with us.
Year 4 - Moor House March 2023
WOW! What a fantastic time we had on our first residential. The children in Year 4 blew us away with their manners, skills and team work and it was an absolutely pleasure to take them away. From tree climbing, archery, pioneering, orienteering, shelter building, fire making, crate stacking, all the way to singing songs and dancing around the campfire, we all had the most wonderful experience! Keep an eye out on our website where we will be adding lots of photographs.
Please can we take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in the residential. To parents for packing up and preparing their children for the visit, the office team for supporting with the paper work, the PTA for funding our bus, staff back at school who covered teaching and duties, the team at Moor House and to the staff who attended the residential with the children – we couldn’t have provided our children with this amazing opportunity without any of you!
