Here at Coxhoe Primary School we are extremely lucky to have so many children who love to sing. Our Key Stage 2 Choir allows children to develop their singing skills further and sing as part of an ensemble. We have around 30 members and we participate in a range of concerts at local venues and rehearse together regularly.

What we have been up to...
This year we have performed at:
We have loved performing in front of our audiences and showing everyone all of our talents. We have sung a variety of songs and worked on lots of singing techniques.
Our Trip to Durham Cathedral
We had been practising for months ready to perform in Durham Cathedral as part of the Outreach Project. We had to practise songs based on the Sun, Moon and Stars. We performed alongside 8 other schools in the cathedral in front of our family and friends. We had the best time and got to explore the cathedral as well.
The Musical Extravaganza
We performed as part of our Musical Extravaganza concert. We loved singing our favourite songs and showcasing our singing skills to our friends and family. We love singing together.
Our Trip to Durham Castle
We were invited to sing at Durham Castle with 3 other local primary schools in the area. We are the first schools to ever perform here. We were given a tour around the castle before we participated in our concert. Each school sung a song and then we sung a joint song at the end. We performed 'How Far I'll Go' from Moana and 'A Million Dreams' with the other schools.
