Clubs at Coxhoe
At Coxhoe Primary school, we offer a broad range of extra curricular activities as well as wraparound care. We use pupil and parent feedback to inform our offer and it is adapted each term. Extra curricular clubs at school provide children with a unique opportunity to explore and try out new experiences in a familiar setting and at low/no cost. Staff work with children and parents to support choice and encourage wider development. The range of opportunities on offer are provided by school staff and external providers; activities include music - from choir to Xylophone, sport - from golf to yoga, puzzles & games, art, cooking, computing and more. The programme seeks to offer enriching experiences to support the personal development of ALL pupils and activities support and enhance our Coxhoe Curriculum which is driven by the needs of our Coxhoe community. Activities help to support our children build strong character traits and develop key skills (see Skills Builder page) that help to prepare them for their future, society, promote positive mental health as well as an active and healthy lifestyle.
